Since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022, childhood in Ukraine has been shattered. Homes reduced to rubble. Schools turned into battlegrounds. Children forced to grow up overnight — hiding in freezing basements, trembling through air raid sirens, mourning lost friends and parents.
More than 75% of families are now living in poverty. Many have been displaced, separated, or widowed — unable to afford rent, food, or basic hygiene items. Children who’ve lost one or both parents are now scattered across unfamiliar cities, surviving without stability.
These families face impossible choices: food or medicine, warmth or shelter. And for millions of children, dignity slips further away with each day of war.

Reaching Families Others Can’t
We’ve been working in Ukraine since 2014 — long before the war made headlines.
Serving orphans, children in need, and single mothers in difficult situations through our programs at the local Relief Center and our trusted volunteer network.
When the full-scale invasion began, we expanded our emergency response across eastern and central Ukraine. Partnering with trusted local churches, volunteers, and grassroots groups, we’ve served families fleeing high-conflict zones like Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson.
Through your support, we’ve delivered:
- Thousands of hot meals, hygiene kits, and warm clothing
- Emergency shelter support for displaced mothers with children
- Psychosocial care and trauma support for children
- School supplies and mentorship for kids restarting life in new cities
We operate as a non-political, non-commercial, and neutral humanitarian organization. Our only agenda is love in action.
Our volunteers — from both the U.S. and Ukraine — work tirelessly to meet families where they are, offering not just aid, but dignity. And most importantly — we are not going anywhere. As long as children are in need, we will continue.
