Food Box Program

The Heightened Hearts Foundation’s “Food Box” program is designed to offer sustenance and nourishment to the world’s poorest individuals who consistently face issues of hunger – even starvation, in the worst cases.

At the Heightened Hearts Foundation, our team of staff and committed volunteers works tirelessly to educate thousands of people each year on the topic of hunger and the problems it creates, with the ultimate goal of inspiring them to join us in our fight to eliminate it.

For the “Food Box” program, the Heightened Hearts Foundation collects food from those who have it, and distributes it to those who need it the most. Volunteers, who our organization actively recruits, help us package and deliver these vital meals to those in the most desperate of situations. The Heightened Hearts Foundation collects and delivers food for people around the world, ensuring that the hungry in every country we serve can benefit from our efforts.

In Florida, where the Heightened Hearts Foundation maintains its headquarters, we have established local meal packaging programs, enabling us to use local ingredients, local volunteers, and a local distribution channel to deliver meals in the most efficient and effective manner.

During the holiday season, the Heightened Hearts Foundation offers a two-pronged approach to meal delivery. First, we organize soup kitchens on all of the major winter holidays, a local system made possible through community donations and involvement. We also collect food to create “holiday food boxes,” which we distribute on Thanksgiving and Christmas to locally disadvantaged people that may lack the physical ability or transportation to visit our soup kitchens. Like the food offered via our soup kitchen program, the holiday food boxes contain all the basic staples of a traditional holiday meal, centered on foods that contain all the essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients to sustain proper nutrition.

Through our local and international food box programs, as well as our holiday soup kitchens and food boxes, the Heightened Hearts Foundation is maintaining a positive local and international presence, while simultaneously meeting the nutritional needs of many people living at or below the poverty line.
